How does it work?
You connect your Mindbody site to your AI once. After that you ask questions in plain English in Claude or ChatGPT, and the answers come from your live Mindbody data.
Can it change anything in Mindbody or email my clients?
Right now it reads your data. Your AI can draft a message, and you review and send it yourself.
How is this different from Mindbody's own reports and Clients at Risk?
Those stay where they are. StudioVector adds a conversation: you ask follow-up questions about your studio in the AI you already use. Its own at-risk list uses its own rules, so it can differ from Mindbody's. Read more at https://studiovector.io/guides/mindbody-clients-at-risk.
Do I need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan?
You need an account that can add a custom connector. Anthropic says custom connectors are available on every Claude plan, with one allowed on Free. ChatGPT depends on your plan and, in a workspace, your admin. The setup guides show the current steps.
Do I need a Mindbody API key?
No. You enter your Site ID and approve one activation code in Mindbody. We never ask for your Mindbody password.
Can my team use it?
Yes. The account owner or an admin invites team members, and each person signs in with their own Google account. Plans include a set number of team seats.
What is a credit?
The unit your plan's allowance is counted in. 1 credit is 1 request to Mindbody. Every question your AI answers from Mindbody uses at least 1 credit, and summary tools that read many records cost more, up to the maximum their description states. Account tools are free.
What happens if I run out?
Your AI's Mindbody tools pause until your credits reset at the start of the next billing period, or until the account owner upgrades. Account tools keep working. There are no overage charges.
How many locations can I connect?
Plans count locations, not Mindbody sites: one site can hold several locations, and every plan includes a set number across all your sites. Enterprise has no limit.
Which AI tools work?
Claude and ChatGPT for most studios, depending on your plan. Developer tools such as Cursor and Gemini CLI also work.
How do I connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Mindbody?
Sign in with Google, choose a plan, connect your Mindbody Site ID, and add https://studiovector.io/mcp in Claude or ChatGPT. Every studio uses this URL. Guides are at https://studiovector.io/guides.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT use to connect to outside data. You do not need to know anything about it: it is how your AI reaches your Mindbody data. StudioVector is an MCP server for Mindbody.
